Young athletes, ages 8-18 with type 1 diabetes, are invited to participate along with a sibling or best friend! Campers will choose 3 out of 6 sports based on interest. Fuld was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2004. He was an All Star two years later in the Florida State League. A year after that, he was voted the Most Valuable Player in the Arizona Fall League. In the minors, as a result of his fearless defense, he was referred to as "a crash test dummy with a death wish", a "human wrecking ball act," a "wall magnet," and a "manager's dream and a trainer's worst nightmare."

Fuld is best known for covering a lot of ground in the Rays outfield. Recently, he made another diving, face-planting catch of a sinking line drive, leading Rays pitcher David Price to say: "I heard that the world is covered by 75 percent water, and the other 25 percent is covered by Sam Fuld." As of April 20, Fuld led Baseball Tonight"s Web Gem standings with 18 points, which included Web Gems at each outfield position.
